  Vegetable Herb Dip      
 
1 cup or 8 oz. container of
plain low fat yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
3/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
fresh basil to taste
1 green onion or scallion, chopped
pepper, if desired

Place ingredients in a blender or food processor until well blended and smooth. Refrigerate in covered container for at least 1 hour, until thickened. Great served with raw vegetables or crackers! Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
