  Fresh Strawberry Pie      
 
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup corn starch
pinch of salt
red food coloring
1 pkg strawberry gelatin
1 1/2 cups fresh sliced unsweetened strawberries
1 - 9 inch pre-baked pie shell
whipped cream

Combine sugar, water, cornstarch, and salt; cook until clear. Remove from heat; add red food coloring. Add gelatin, stir well. Let cool. Add strawberries into baked pie shell and pour in sauce. Chill at least 2 hours or until set. Top with fresh whipped cream before serving.
